Impact

Progress Built One Learner, One Family, One Partnership at a Time.

Our impact begins with individual students, but it does not end there. BEI's work also strengthens families, equips educators, supports schools, and builds community partnerships around literacy and learning.

300+

What Impact Means to Us

More Than a Number.

The metrics matter, but they only tell part of the story. The outcomes we value are the changes people can feel and use.

Confident Learners

Students build skills while beginning to see themselves as capable learners.

Supported Families

Parents gain understanding, clearer options, and stronger tools for navigating education.

Equipped Educators

Teachers receive coaching, modeling, and professional learning grounded in evidence-based literacy practices.

Stronger Communities

Schools, nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and families work together to expand opportunity.

School & Educator Impact

Building Capacity Beyond Our Learning Center.

Recent work has included teacher training and coaching with classroom demonstrations, individual coaching, professional learning community meetings, observation, and data-informed support for implementation of Science of Reading practices.

These partnerships are designed to strengthen educator knowledge and help effective instruction reach more students over time.

Partnership

Local Support Makes the Work Possible

Community sponsors, donors, businesses, schools, churches, families, and volunteers have helped BEI grow and serve more children over time.

A Boundless Moment

Sometimes impact looks like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

In 2025, community partner Jimmy Hayden sponsored a Transformers VIP experience for several BEI students. The students got up close to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and other Autobots—a memorable day made possible by a partner who wanted to create something special for the children we serve.
